Red Wrangler
Give Easy to Use Tools to Your Web Design Clients
Providing publishing tools that are too complicated for your clients? Not to mention installing, upgrading, and debugging those tools? How about capturing Contact Us page leads for your clients? Managing all their logins for AdWords, carts, analytics?
Red Wrangler helps web professionals manage their clients and workflow. They can provide their clients with easy to use tools to publish web pages, manage leads, and more, all in one place online.
Anyone can use Red Wrangler to corral their internet marketing efforts. Without changing hosting. Using any page design. However, the service is optimized for solo web professionals with multiple clients.
Here how it works:
Manage Clients
Click a client name, make changes to their pages, logins, leads. Click another client name, make changes. It's easy.
Publish Pages
Define client pages, add content and meta tags, set previous/next links for gallery pages. Publish one or many pages.
Capture & Manage Leads
Set up a Contact Us page for a client. Capture and track leads. Add offline leads. Export leads for email campaigns, direct mail, and offline marketing.
Store Logins
Toss your sticky notes. Put client logins for AdWords, stats, shopping carts, blog, and other services in one safe place.
Who Uses Red Wrangler?
Red Wrangler is designed by a web professional for solo web professionals with more than one client. But anyone who wants to manage their website and internet marketing can use it. A low monthly fee lets you publish pages, manage leads, and store logins. Web professionals who use Red Wrangler for their clients also get a free account when one of their clients has a paid account. (Plus they get a zippy title: Trail Boss.)
Is It Secure?
Yes. All your logins are encrypted in the database and displayed through a SSL connection. You also can specify who sees pages, templates, and logins if you have more than one person use Red Wrangler.
Is It Too Technical to Use?
Because we're geared towards solo web professionals people who are often more creative than technical, Red Wrangler is easy to use. There are only three top level links: you'll do fine if you can figure out the "Publish" link is for web page publishing, "Leads" is for managing leads, and "Configure" is for settings and access. Plus we provide free setup support to make sure everything is in place.
Best of all, if your client can remember their domain name, their email address, and one favorite password, they can find Red Wrangler any place with a web browser and an internet connection.
What about Dreamweaver? Other Tools?
Keep 'em. Red Wrangler is what you use after you create a web site with other tools. Once your design is in Red Wrangler, it's much easier to tweak your pages for search engines, add or remove pages, update content, and so on. We've even made client changes while on vacation with our cell phone, without having to carry a laptop.
How Hard is it to Leave Red Wrangler?
In a word: easy. Your web pages are always on your server. You can export your leads to Excel. You can print out your logins. We hate to be locked into tools and assume you do, too. We're confident Red Wrangler will make your life so easy you won't want to leave. But if you do need to go, you are not locked in. You do not have to start over.

Tools + How-To Knowledge
Great tools are not enough for web designers and their clients to succeed. Unlike other tools, Red Wrangler includes how-to information about all aspects of internet marketing. Some is embedded in the application. Some is in the form of a blog and a list of carefully vetted resources. (The blog has been active since late 2002, at ReachCustomersOnline.com, and has ranked highly with Google on some internet marketing topics, for example, how to code HTML email newsletters.)
